I started by buying jewellery from India to sell on. I was soon asked to make jewellery repairs and decided to enlist in several courses at West Dean College. There I learnt to string and knot beads. I also did a silverwork course to enable me to make my clasps and ear wires.
I have also travelled to Arizona and India to buy interesting stones to work with.
